Thanks Jorgen for sending the three attachements.

(I was only able to open up the PDF file containing the 1969 Evinrude accessories catalogue which did list a conversion kit for adding trailer brakes, but did not list parts for the brakeless set up).

According to my 1967 Evinrude Trailer parts manual the OMC part numbers are;

Inside Bearing

Seal (Hub) = OMC part 901288

Bearing Cup = OMC part 900474

Bearing Cone = OMC part 975596

Outside Bearing

Bearing Cup = OMC part 900474

Bearing Cone = OMC part 975596

But, these numbers are meaningless at my local Bearing Company.

I do not have the Original bearings in my hands (the originals are still mounted inside the hub on the trailer which is located 220 miles away).

Has anyone on the list replaced their bearings lately with Temken or Koyo bearings, or any other modern brand of bearings? (or is finding bearings for the original Evinrude brakeless torrsion suspension trailer a big problem?)

Still fishing and hoping to land a number,

Don.
