hey guy-good advice about teh magnets.
-so, starter is perfectly fine. rebuilt less than 50 hours ago and
NOTHING wrong with it.
-prop will not turn by hand-under any circumstance-thats why i think
lower unit is bad(or locked in a gear)
-motor is fine. im a hot rodder-first thing i did was pull the plugs to
see if that lessened the compression/cranking pressure. no-go.
-the oil was seeping out of a spot on the port/left side of the lower
unit down low.(forget if above or below the trim plane-its out in the
cold yard...)

if the electorshift wires are disconnected-does it fall out of
gear-nevermind i remember reading it defaults to forward gear under
fail so you can still get 'home'
-if i allpy juice to those wires will it kick it out of gear? hotwire
it. is the unit the ground? or is there dedicated ground wire?
thanks for teh excellent advice and troubleshooting.
mark
