There's lots of good information on Lee Schuster's website about OMC
outdrives and Johnson boats. Also, gull-wing.net has several links to
suppliers of various parts for the boats.

Regarding the fuel gauge, when you installed the new tank, did you attach a
ground wire from one of the attach screws on the sender to the boat's
ground? If so, then take a voltage reading at the wire that attaches to the
center connection of the fuel level sender. No power, no reading. If you
have power to the sender, then try taking a resistance reading from the
center connection on the sender to the center connection (with the power
lead disconjnected.) A really high resistance would indicate a bad sender.
