Rare V8 Evinrude Explorer (w/front mounted helm)

Besides the small-block V8 Chevy, note that the rear deck is not as squared off as in the (apparently later - 1970?) version shown on Phil's site.

While the bow-helm location provides even more usable space in a compact 16-footer, it sure has a funky look, IMHO :)
