Welcome to the forum and the boating world. Great places. Start off with a Seloc Manual for the early OMC sterndrives. You can get original literature from OMC for the boat but harder to find. You will need a parts list to get the number for the parts you need. You can dig on the web and come up with parts lists. Ebay is about the only source for parts other than for random dealers that are running out of parts or closing up etc. The rig is not too hard to figure out with some time and literature. Good luck.
