[OMC-Boats] Trailering

Assuming I manage to fix my cooling issue, I may get the chance to tow
my boat to the river today. This makes me wonder about trailering.
With my outboards, I'd lower the engine into a transom saver before
hauling. But they didn't have power trim or the tilt motor my Johnson
has. The manual says to trailer with the motor down. Maybe in
Nebraska. But here in Western PA, we have rough roads and lots of
hills. I see no way to trailer with the drive down and not hit the
skeg on the road surface. I'm not even sure I could get it out of my
driveway with the motor in the down position. So it ok to trailer with
the motor partially up? Or should I lift it and set it in a transom
saver like I did with my outboards? I know it seems like a silly
question, but since this boat doesn't have a traditional trim, and it
doesn't use a traditional transom mounted outdrive, it seems like a
lot of the rules of bot hauling I'm used to don't apply. Thanks for
the advice. If I manage to get on the water today, it will be thanks
to you guys.

I can't wait to take my Johnson out and play with it....
