Actually mine came with the stainless. I'm running a 14x18 aluminum now to pick up a few more RPM for a better hole shot. My boat has the waterlogged foam problem and I haven't found the time to tackle it yet. Maybe next year.

My understanding is that the 14x19 SS is equivalent to an aluminum 14x20 because it doesn't flex as much.

Did you have an aluminum prop beforehand and if so, did you experience a notable performance increase when switching to SS?

Yes. I have one on my '69 155. 14" dia x 19" pitch. SS props have odd pitch numbers.
