Look for fuel contamination. Pop the float bowls and work back from there checking all filters working towards the tank.

Same boat same issue.

I took my boat out this am and at 3/4 throttle started to sputter and
eventually quit and wouldn't start, had to tow in. Think it might be
the fuel pump (mechanical?) but don't know for sure. I'm gonna try
putting some fuel down the carb to get her started.
