That's a tough one, Doug. 1968 Sporty's were a one-year transition. New-deck on existing hull. They had some unique parts that were only offered for the single MY. I would suggest you get the OMC part number and start scanning google, eBay and craigslist regularly.
It might take awhile (as in years) but you never know. I scored some hard-to-find stuff over the years that way.
My latest discovery after five years of searching was the divorced choke pull off rod for the QuadraJet on my 307. Someone starting making them again, but it's not a boat-specific part.
