RE: [omc-boats] Trucourse steering

I just greased that this past weekend (’69 Sportsman). On mine it’s on the
Starboard side at about a 45 degree up angle to the ground about four inches
forward of the transom. It is a bit inconspicuous. After all these years,
it still takes me a good long look to zero in on it.

not all intermediate housings had that grease fitting.

Does anyone have the trucourse steering setup on their boats? I know it's a

trucourse. I'm trying to find the inner grease fitting inside the boat on
the intermediate housing for the steering shaft. Anyone know where it's at?
My steering is really stiff, I can't believe the cables would be bad.
