Another very effective way I've found is to search the internet using only
the part number in the search field. Obviously you have to know the part
numbers to do this, but they're generally much easier to find than the parts
themselves. By doing this I was able to find a NOS water pump the dealer
didn't even know he had -- and I paid $90 instead of the $500 they're now
going for. I've found this to be a very effective way to slice through
internet clutter and get to exactly what you want be it boat parts, a vacuum
cleaner, or a new CPU for your computer. Also be sure to check forums --
just this week I found a used safety switch for my SeaDoo at PWCtoday.com
for $25 instead of forking over $100 to the dealer for a new one.
