If it's anything like my 66 OMC, just remove the screws from the back of the
tilt-motor. Then remove the motor. Inside you'll find a soft brass coupling
usually in pieces. It's made to disintegrate so you don't ruin the gears. Try
Garysmarine.com for replacement parts.
