Hi, all,
I'm having a problem with the tilt motor. I have replace the motor, the silenoids and replace the wiring based on the wiring diagram. Still the stern drive doesn't go up or down. Any ideas to fix the problem.

You need a Seloc manual to answer the ball gear questions. You can run any
kind of fluid but I would only do it temporarily till you can buy the proper
OMC fluid. The cost is insignificant. The lower unit must use a fluid that
will not damage the wires that are bathed in the fluid ie OMC electric shift

Just bought a Cruisers INC 23 foot boat with a 1976 OMC 190.
Can I change the ball gears without removing the shafts from the upper and
intermediate housings?
Can I run Amsoil Synthetic marine gear lube in the upper and intermediate
housings?
Was going to run OMC C fluid in the lower housing... Thanks
