Re: [OMC-Boats] Floor question...

The 19' didn't change as much as the 16's did. But they all got a bit heavier as OMC was constantly improving and making things stronger due to off shore testing on Lake Michigan and ocean testing in Florida.

remember the 69-70 16' hulls all added a 4-in deeper vee deadrise pretty much along the length of the keel, adding some weight, but ironically making the hull 1-2 mph faster on top end.

Thanks. I didn't think that the 1966 weights on the web site would be right for the '69 hulls.

Lee,

Would you know the published weights of the boat and trailer combos for a 1969 Sportsman 155 and 1969 Rogue 210? I have the owner's manuals for the both the boats and trailers. The trailer weights are stated but the boat weights are not. Thanks.

I wouldn't go that far. It is a concern. Weight the boat and trailer for a baseline. Comapre against published specs.

If your boat has been stored indoors or properly covered all it's life, then I wouldn't worry too much, but it's always a concern.
