Reply to John - there is a man on ebay from the phoenix area selling stern
drive parts - he has been there several years. You might check his site -
just go to ebay motors -boat parts -OMC. The lube for the stern drive has to
be special as there are electrical components in the fluid that must not be
damaged by the lubricant. These components are wires and the electromagnet
shifters. All these lubes are available. I get mine from Marysville Marine

informative. BTW - The marysville part number for the type c electric shift
