The problem is that OMC spent so much on engineering every part. These are injection molded pieces. The dash lense also appears to be a strange plastic formula because I have found that typical solvent-based welds even with heat enhancement proves ineffective.

 

Regarding the lenses for the running lights - FYI - just to construct a mold tool, I have quotes in the $500-$700 range... The "Holy Grail" would be if someone could track down any of the original tooling for these parts...
