Be sure to check the hookup of the small hoses that connect to the
heat exchangers in the exhaust manifolds.
If I remember correctly the hoses at the top of the little box on the front
of the engine go to the bottom connections on the manifolds, and the
hoses on the bottom of the little box go to the top connections on the
manifolds.
If reversed, this might cause bad circulation and overheating.
It happened to me a long long time ago.
