The 14 foot 9 inch was sold in 1966 and 1967 in red and in 1968 in green. The Evinrude version of the Caprice was the Playmate.

Bought the boat in July 2008 from a man in Roscommon, MI for $250.00 it had sat out in the weather for about 4 years otherwise it was garage kept for its entire life except when it was moored in the water. I got it with the lower unit in pieces in the back of the boat, got the orignal owners manual to the boat and johnson trailer along with all the prvious owners.
